    blog while i can!

you may have noticed that this is my third blog for october 30, 2008.

it's not all the time that i could blog... because of time, and because of uhh.. lack of 'creative juice'.  so right now, i'll blog as long as i want. or can.

the last two weeks of october were, for me, intense. it was fun but stressful yet exciting but nervous yet sad but happy.  here's a rundown on some memorable days:

    OCTOBER 17

MARIAN SONG-MIME CHAMPIONS! we only really started practice the day before the contest, yet we won! unbelievable. out of all the sections, we were the only ones without a Mama Mary, so we weren't sure if we got disqualified or if we have a chance of winning. i guess our strong points were the smiley-cross-smiley and G-O-D! haaay. I <3 JB! we wouldn't have done it without each other (naks!) go burgers! ohh and i read the mechanics. haha wala lang.

    OCTOBER 17-19

SEARCH-IN CIRCLE 113 RETREAT! i really can't say much, but it was great.  i got to open up to myself and to others as well. KAPIT!

    OCTOBER 21

PERSUASIVE SPEECH! I was initially fifth to perform, but since Paula didn't, I was fourth - and scared. I'm not that good with crowds, especially when I would have to act, but this OP wasn't so bad. It's partly because I wanted to make up for my poor score last OP (Greek goddess) and because I was quite comfortable with my class already. I had fun as well.  I got 18.75, which is great!

    OCTOBER 23

HIP TO BE HERE! i was the opening prayer for this activity. the only reason why i added this is because i won a jacket from DLSU  it's black, but it kinda looks weird - parang motorcycle jacket-ish. but it's still okay.

    OCTOBER 24

WATCHED HSM3 WITH FAMILY! we watched after my ballet class. IT WAS GREAT! there are some cheesy/corny parts, but other than that, it really was good. nearly all of the songs and dances were absolutely great. I especially like 'can i have this dance?' - you can see that from my last blog entry. haha.

    OCTOBER 26

DUTY FREE + RACKS WITH FAMILY! this one's probably the best day in october for me - i've had a really great day with my family. we went to Magallanes for Mass, then ate at RACKS! THE BEST grilled barbeque ever! We ordered a family platter. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! I was making Taking jealous just by texting him about it  Afterwards we went to Duty Free. Yeah, chocolates galore! We mostly bought food  I found my Nature Valley Oats and Honey! haha introduced to me by Ica. and lotsa chocolates, specially the Lindt kind.

    OCTOBER 29

MIME PERFORMANCE IN CPA! our mime was for the fifth decade. i didn't know i was gonna lead the decade! i do remember volunteering for something to do with the rosary, but sir didn't tell me exactly what i was going to do. second, i forgot to bring slippers, so for the three times that i went onstage (prayer, mime, flower offering) i was barefoot. haha. we added last minute steps for our mime. this time we got it video-ed. we went outside the theater once we finished, and watched our performance. not to boast, but it really was good. that's how we got the oohs and aahs. haha!

for today, i played table tennis with ate. it was so fun! we kept on laughing and singing. the frog!  it jumped out of the thorny bush and we screamed!  and then i learned the first part of River Flows In You. It's a really beautiful piece; i really feel it when i play it. and the now - blogging for the third time.

'cause my heart is wherever you are...

ever since i watched High School Musical 3: Senior Year, i cannot seem to stop singing this song. In the movie, it was divided into two parts, both of which I do love. Plus, the dance/s that Zac and Vanessa did in this one was absolutely amazing. I wish I could do that someday.

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

    [Gabriella]
Take my hand, take a breath
Pull me close and take one step
Keep your eyes locked on mine,
And let the music be your guide.

    [Troy, Gabriella]
Won't you promise me (now won't you promise me, that you'll never forget)
We'll keep dancing (to keep dancing) wherever we go next

    (chorus)
It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
    Can I have this dance

    [Troy]
Take my hand, I'll take the lead
And every turn will be safe with me
Don't be afraid, afraid to fall
You know I'll catch you threw it all

    [Troy, Gabriella]
And you can't keep us apart (even a thousand miles, can't keep us apart)
'Cause my heart is (cause my heart is) wherever you are

    (chorus)
It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
    Can I have this dance

    [Gabriella And Troy]
Oh no mountains too high enough, oceans too wide
'Cause together or not, our dance won't stop
Let it rain, let it pour
What we have is worth fighting for
You know I believe, that we were meant to be

    (chorus)
It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you (like you)
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do (way we do)
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
    Can I have this dance

    Can I have this dance
    Can I have this dance

    SEM BREAK!... for two days.

oh yes. two days. that should be fun.

unsarcastically, there's halloween  it's gonna be nine years since i last did trick or treat, so i am excited. haha. plus i get to go around begging for candy with my friends and sisters, so i hope it will be fun! other than that, i get to rest and do some of my favorite pastimes (like blogging.), since i never really have the time during school, and if i do read/play piano/blog/etc., i don't prioritize well . third is family reunion! i haven't talked to my relatives for a while, unlike years ago when we all had the time to meet every Sunday. so.. yeah.

sarcastically speaking, there's still projects, tests and homework to be done. they had our so-called 'sem break' cut to make it two days (not counting the weekend, cause either way, there's no school on those days), plus they issue us projects with deadlines more or less a week away.

i'm using this day as a 'free day' - nothing school related. i do hope that that was good prioritization.

some of the things i have to do over the 'sem break':

    •art project
    •physics motion story
    •filipino newsletter
    •geom quiz
    •THE skit
    •filipino - read El Filibusterismo
    •english - read Wuthering Heights

apart from halloween, family get-togethers and what else, i do hope i can finish this.

    i want to blog but i can't.

Time isn't on my side. I doubt that it actually ever was.

But then it's kind of my fault, because I always procrastinate.

So I would sort of be blogging...

INTRAMS :: October 9, 2008. I love intrams! GO BURGERS! The dance was great. I don't think we're the best, but I believed we did a good job. Haha. There were times na tiring, grabe. I was due for table tennis, badminton and frisbee, and they were simultaneous sports! Luckily Jiza subbed for me in badminton, and Pat in frisbee. After table tennis, I took my place in frisbee, but it was nearly done. But I'm alright, I still got to play pa naman.  hmm... what else. BASKETBALL! JB vs. JC was the best game that day! Coach JC! Star player JED! haha. I got scared when started hyperventilating, lalo na when he fell on the floor, his knee hurt by cushioning his fall. And then VITTO :)) free throws! Haha. I guess we made him kaba by shouting his name pabilis ng pabilis. By the end of the day, we were leading overall! I hope we do get a place. What sucks though is that the frisbee finals and the track and field sports were cancelled because of the weather. sucks.

hmmm. that's all for now, i guess.

    deja vu.

    DEJA VU.

I wonder why I usually get that. Although it lessened these past weeks, I used to get one at least once a week. And I'm pretty much sure that I've felt those certain events happen before, even if there is a slight variation.

Like that dream a few nights ago. But I don't remember it at all, which is usual for a 'deja vu' event.

I don't even remember why I wrote this.

    ayy bahala na.
